Wine with seafood – Covering anything edible from the sea, these recommendations focus on mixed dishes of seafood with sauces
- Paella – Manzanilla is brilliant, if not try Albarino, or Verdejo
- Bouillabaisse – Sauvignon Blanc or a Provencal Rose
- Prawn Laksa – German Riesling or an oaked Chardonnay
- Seafood curry – A lower alcohol wine with seafood curry is also a better choice if the curry is spicy, as alcohol will only increase the heat of the dish. Trying pairings such as a demi-sec Vouvray, or Alsatian Pinot Gris.
