The grapes are sourced form 8 different blocks on the farm, which were handpicked and carefully vinified separately. The grapes were fermented for 7 days, and then the crushed grapes and skins are left to macerate for at least a month. The must is then pressed and moved to 30% new French oak and 70% second fill French oak for 18 months.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is truly a classic in style, with a rich aroma, up-front cassis, tobacco and pencil lead on the nose. Delicious rich plumb and chocolate, are structured by firm, yet restrained tannins, which make way for an elegant finish.
