Boschendal MCC
Pale gold in colour with a flourish of delicate bubbles. This MCC carries enticing lemon cream and almond Biscotti preceding lovely layers of citrus with a finish appealing in length and freshness.
Boschendal MCC Brut Rose
Pinotage, the offspring of Pinot Noir, was carefully selected to complement the elegant structure of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with luscious fruit. The Brut Rose captivates with its delicate pale pink colour and intoxicating red fruit aromas which further delight the palate with hints of strawberry, raspberry and cherry flavours.
Silver Myn Sauvignon Blanc
Light yellow in colour with hints of lime green, the nose shows wonderful aromas of greener tropical fruit such as green melon, kiwi fruit and guava. This character is true to the Banghoek terroir – lots of gooseberry zip, linear, crisp and racy. This is a bright, zesty wine with youthful acidity leading to a multi-layered palate showing distinct mineral and fresh lime flavours on the finish.
Silver Myn Argentum
This Bordeaux blend is a specialism of Banghoek Valley and is brim full of ripe, bramble and plummy fruit with dark curranty corners. Bright, fresh and gently leafy on the finish.
Jemma Chenin Blanc
Jemma Chenin blanc wine has a bright aroma and flavour of tropical fruit. Honeydew melon, guava and pineapple with an under lying savoury minerality and a lick of wood. The wine has a great texture and a long, layered finish with bright acidity keeping it fresh and vibrant. The wine is beautifully balanced with concentrated flavour.
It is a versatile partner at the table complementing such classis dishes as coronation chicken, trout with almonds or even macaroni cheese.
Great value for good everyday drinking with enough class for special dinners, high days and holidays.
Jemma Pinotage
Jemma Pinotage is medium to full bodied with red and black summer berries, savoury spice and toasty wood flavours, leading to a nicely poised finish.
The grapes for this wine have been harvested from Langvlei and Leeuwenkuil vineyards on the Agter Paarl/ Swartland border.
Pinotage was harvested over a two week period starting late Jan. Most of the grapes were destalked and fermented in tanks with various staves. Malolactic and maturation was completed on staves. Approximately 15% of the wine was fermented in small open fermenters and hand punched before being pressed off prior to full dryness into small French and American oak barrels.
