Cantina Toblino Pinot Grigio Organic 2022

Cantina Toblino is situated in the Valle dei Laghi in Trentino Alto Adige surrounded by a lake and mountains, sitting between 250-800 metres altitude. Toblino is a cooperative with 600+ members and over 900 hectares of vines, with a very strong sustainability and organic-focused record and widely considered to be the most highly regarded vineyard in the region. The winery impressively combines traditional methods with the latest technology; high tech presses, conical foudres, horizontal stainless-steel tanks and locally made clay jars to age the wine. Over half the vines are certified organic, and vine health is helped by the tempering winds that come via the valley through Lake Garda. Chardonnay flourishes here, along with Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and the native Nosiola and Lagrein.

Coming from the vineyards of the Agr Toblino, located between Sarche and Pietramurata, characterized by well-drained, dry soils and a cool climate that allows the perfect ripening of the bunches.

On the nose, it is graceful and slightly fruity with aromas of Williams pear and yellow plum. Structured but discreet on the palate, elegant with pleasant acidity that leaves a clean and fresh sensation in the mouth.
