Château d'Avrillé

Chateau d'Avrillé AOC Anjou-Brissac Rouge 75cl

£15.00

In May 1938, Eusèbe Biotteau founded the wine estate at Château d'Avrillé. After 50 years of stubborn work, he became a figure in Angers viticulture, in particular by having the idea of a tasting cellar, the first initiative of its kind in Anjou. Eusèbe Biotteau was able to pass on his know-how, his love of wine and vines to his sons and grandsons. Today, it is the 4th generation that perpetuates the history at Château d'Avrillé. Over the years, the Biotteau family has been able to grow the company by combining modernity and tradition.

The Château d'Avrillé is located in the Loire Valley, a tourist hotspot and renowned for its castles. It benefits from a privileged location in Maine et Loire, in the heart of the Anjou vineyards. The landscapes of the Loire and its monuments are recognized by UNESCO as Outstanding Universal Value. In addition, the Loire, the most eloquent river in Europe, flows here in a delicious environment privileged by the climate and its terroirs. Our wines resemble this landscape, full of charm and delicacy.

On the nose, aromatic power of ripe red fruits: blackcurrant, cherries, blackberries. There is a great structure and lovely silky tannins.
