Chateau Musar

Chateau Musar Jeune White 75cl

£16.50

This near legendary Lebanese estate was founded by Gaston Hochar in 1930 in a region with a 6,000 year old wine-producing history started by the Phoenicians.

First produced in 2007, these unoaked, vibrantly fruity wines, made from the fruit of youthful Bekaa Valley vines, were introduced to meet the demand for a current drinking Musar range. These wines can be enjoyed straight from their bottles: there is no need to decant.

Pale lemon colour with trademark peach and apricot aromas, a dash of pineapple and
tropical fruit. Smooth textured and balanced with a lovely citrussy freshness, it is
vibrantly fresh and deliciously drinkable within four to five years from the harvest.
Pair with seafood, rich shellfish, scallops, squid, octopus; it is a great fish wine but will
also partner pork dishes and, served lightly chilled, a large variety of tapas and mezze.
