Chateau Talbot Saint Julien is named after John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury who fell at the Battle of Castillon in 1453. A fine wine which personifies the style of St Julien. Graceful, medium-bodied with elegant fruit and gently structured from integrated oak tannins

Médoc Grand Cru Classé, Château Talbot comprises 107 hectares of vineyard cultivated in the heart of the Saint-Julien commune, an outstanding appellation, as it counts no fewer than 11 classified growths. 

Ideally situated on the banks of the estuary of the Gironde on hilltops of alluvial gravel carried by the Dordogne River from the Massif Central and from the Pyrénées by the Garonne, Château Talbot's terroir is exceptional. 

Dense and deep ruby colour. Perfumed nose of violet and cassis with mineral tones. Fresh and energetic on the palate, with suave flavors of dark berries, minerals and dry herbs. This captivating Talbot has lovely length and balance.
