Papagiannakos Melias 50cl

Papagiannakos Melias is a sweet, Greek dessert wine produced by Domaine Papagiannakos in the Attica region. It is made from 100% Malagouzia grapes, and its name, "Melias," is derived from the Greek word for honey ("meli").

The wine is created using a traditional local method known as "vrasto" ("boiled"). In this process, Malagouzia grape must is boiled and then combined with successive doses of live fermenting must. This careful technique prevents fermentation from stopping and contributes to the wine's intense flavour.
