Chateau Pichon
Reserves de la Comtesse Pauillac
Château Pichon Reserve de la Comtesse de Lalande Red Wine was created by Château Pichon Lalande. The estate was founded in 1689 and acquired the status of 2eme Cru Classe in the 1855 classification. The 76 hectare vineyard borders Chateau Latour and stretches south towards the commune of Saint Julien. The wines produced here are of exceptional elegance and finesse and their extraordinary charm is renowned.
On the nose, this vintage is deliciously complex with intense floral aromas with wild basil and rosemary savoury notes. The palate is rounded with flavours of strawberry, morello cherry and white tobacco with a fine-tuned finish that is structured, balanced and intense.
