A well-presented gift with no extra cost for the glasses or presentation box. Salomón is the name of the single vineyard, a 4ha site of goblet-trained 40+ year old vines, near the town of Fuentecén. The name of the vineyard refers to the knot of Salomón found as a historical symbol in the churches throughout the region and an image which is the main focal point of the label. Stylistically this is the most elegant of the three wines in the range, but with generous concentration, driven by a freshness of acidity that is a big plus when it comes to food pairing. The fruit character is rich, with blackberry and blueberry fruit character and an interesting chocolate balsamic note coming from the ageing in Spanish oak.

Intense aromas of ripe black fruit, black olive tapenade, tobacco and lightly floral, minty notes. The palate is complex but pure with forest fruits, cassis and balsamic notes. Well-integrated oak provides ripe, chalky tannins balanced by juicy acidity and good length.
