Valhalla Chardonnay, Man O'War 75cl

Set in a remote corner of Waiheke Island with a tasting room right by the beach, Man O’ War is one of New Zealand’s most picturesque wineries. The first vines were planted in 1993 and today the estate has some 150 acres spread across 76 unique sites, giving them access to a wide range of terroirs.

Man O' War Valhalla Chardonnay is a beautiful and complex wine. This New Zealand white is made exclusively from grapes grown at the Man O' War vineyard on Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf. The wine is a delicate straw color with an intense aroma of citrus and tropical fruits such as pineapple and guava. It has a rich, buttery texture on the palate, with flavors of ripe apricot and peach. The wine is crisp and refreshing with a long and satisfying finish.

Intense savoury aromas with brioche, cashew, and hazelnut over ripe stone fruit characters. The aromas on the palate which shows the richness of the vintage, well tamed by the acidity and finished with a salted caramel character confirming the influence of the Pacific Ocean on the viticulture.
